How to Upgrade Upgrading your property size on TSO has many advantages, the major advantage being more building space. In order to upgrade a property you must be the property owner, and have enough simoleons to pay for the upgrade. The number of roommates you have on your property greatly effects the cost of the upgrade. The property upgrade calculator below will allow you to view these costs.  Property Upgrade Costs To upgrade the property, enter the property mode (F4) and click Lot Size Management. Here you can change the size of your lot by clicking the up arrow. As you change the lot size, you will see the cost of the upgrade, and the penalty cost for not having the required number of roommates. Once you have found the size you would like to upgrade to, click the check button below and your lot will be upgraded. Keep in mind that upgrading the lot will not increase your property object limit.
